Description
An 18th-century framed architectural engraving depicting an elevation for The Royal or Whitehall Palace from The Park View. The print is inscribed „Designed by S: W*m Chambers Esq. 1774“ and „G. M. Moos. Sculp 1789,“ indicating a Neoclassical design by Sir William Chambers and execution by G. M. Moos. The print is presented in a wide, ornate gold-toned wooden frame with a mat board, under glass. A white auction or inventory label reading „DUBLIN 1020 LOT 6“ is affixed to the lower right of the frame.
Condition report:
The print appears to be in good overall condition with minor age-related toning consistent with its age. The frame shows light wear commensurate with age and handling.
