Description
A late 18th/early 19th Century Federal or Sheraton style serpentine front sideboard, constructed primarily of mahogany. The piece features richly figured flame mahogany veneer on the two convex side cabinet doors and the central concave section. The central section houses two drawers, all fitted with circular brass ring pull handles. The rectangular top is accented with a lighter wood string inlay or banding. The sideboard stands on four slender, tapered square legs. Visible markings include an auction label „ProAuction LOT 200“ and a paper tag „292“.
Condition report:
Good, stable condition. The finish appears consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear commensurate with age may be present. No significant damage or repairs are immediately apparent.
