Description
An original design sketch on paper, depicting an elaborate decorative or architectural element in a Rococo or Neoclassical style. The composition features scrolling foliage, garlands, classical urns, and a winged figure at the top. Executed in a light medium, possibly pencil or sepia ink, the drawing is presented under glass with a pale mat. It is housed within a multi-tiered frame of dark wood and gilded accents. A white label reading ‚Bloomsbury Auction LOT 293‘ is affixed to the bottom right corner of the mat.
Condition report:
The drawing exhibits age-related toning and discoloration to the paper, with the rendering appearing somewhat faded or lightly executed. The frame and glass are in good apparent condition, showing minor wear consistent with age.
