Description
An architectural print by W.W.S., dated 1779, depicting the „Plan of the Principal Story of Eaton Hall, near Chester, just intended to be Executed.“ The detailed floor plan is rendered in the Adam Style, featuring various rooms labeled in English, including a Dining Room, Drawing Room, and Library, alongside a „Scale of 60 Feet.“ The print is presented within a gold-finished wooden frame and matted in white.
Condition report:
The print is in good condition, clean and crisp. The frame exhibits minor superficial wear consistent with age and handling. A \"PreAuction LOT 3/5\" sticker is visible on the mat.
