Description
A Federal or Hepplewhite style bow-front sideboard, constructed from mahogany with lighter string inlay detailing the top edge, drawer fronts, and cabinet doors. The piece features a serpentine front with a central section comprising two drawers above a recessed panel, flanked by two cabinet doors. It is supported by six slender, tapered legs and retains brass ring pull handles and escutcheons on the doors and upper drawers. A small white tag bearing „LOT 536“ is affixed to the left door, where a key is also present.
Condition report:
Overall good condition consistent with age and use. The top surface exhibits notable wear, including surface scratches and hazing. Minor imperfections commensurate with age.
