Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 659:
Description
An Oak Jacobean Style dining table and set of six matching chairs, indicative of late 19th to early 20th-century Jacobean Revival or Arts & Crafts influences. The dark-stained solid wood rectangular table features a robust stretcher base with heavily carved, turned, and fluted legs. The accompanying chairs have turned front legs, stretcher bases, and upholstered seats and backs in a light green textured fabric, secured with brass-colored studs. A small, unreadable white rectangular sticker is affixed to the tabletop. No discernible text or manufacturer’s markings are visible.
Condition report:
General wear, scratches, and areas of finish loss to the wood surfaces, consistent with age and use. The upholstery shows signs of moderate wear and minor soiling.
