This single, circular bronze or copper coin features a crowned bust of King George V in profile on the obverse, with the inscription „GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND: IMP“ („George V, by the Grace of God, King and Emperor of India“). The reverse displays the denomination „ONE CENT CANADA“ above the date „1916,“ encircled by a decorative wreath.
