Description
A Vintage Collectible Elastoplast First Aid Dressings Tin. This rectangular red metal tin is branded „Elastoplast“ and features the „S&N“ logo and „TRADE MARK.“ It is identified as containing „FIRST AID DRESSINGS, “ specifically „ELASTIC ADHESIVE, “ with the text „Gauze pad medicated with Domiphen Bromide B.P.C. 0.15%.“ A prominent white box on the lid declares, „Now ventilated to let wounds breathe!“ The tin also displays „ORDER NO. 4106“ and partially obscured text below reads „KEEP IN A COOL PLACE.“ The design aesthetic is consistent with the mid-20th century.
