Lot 20:
Description
A large mid-to-late 20th-century mock-Tudor style dollhouse constructed of wood with a decorative paper-covered facade. The exterior features a red tile-effect roof with two front-facing gables decorated with black half-timbered detailing. The central entrance is defined by a porch area supported by two white columns. The windows are constructed of yellow plastic with ornate lattice-work patterns, and some retain miniature lace curtains. The front of the house is hinged, opening to reveal a six-room interior arranged over three levels. The rooms include a top-level bedroom with floral wallpaper and a sitting room with red patterned wallpaper and green armchair; a mid-level hallway and central staircase with red carpet and white banisters; and a bottom-level bathroom with pink plastic suite and a kitchen with blue-tiled effect wallpaper and checkered floor. The house is equipped with integrated electrical ceiling light fixtures and wiring. The building sits upon a large integrated garden base featuring green flocking, a winding white pebbled-effect path, and a playground area with a blue metal and plastic swing set, a slide, and a seesaw. Decorative details include artificial trees, terracotta pots, and a brick-effect boundary wall with spherical pillar caps. No maker’s marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior, interior, or base of the item.
