Description
A mixed media work on paper by the Spanish artist Rafael Griera Bianchi (born 1967), titled ‚Game II‘. The composition features two stylized human faces in profile and a small red animal figure set against a vibrant, textured red background. The work is presented behind glass in a cream-coloured mount and a gold-gilt wooden frame. The verso retains two white adhesive labels from The Art Supermarket at Harvey Nichols, which include the address for James West Fine Art Limited, 28 Islington Park Street, London. The upper label provides an artist biography for R. G. Bianchi, detailing his education at the University of Barcelona and study under Rebecca Horn. The lower label is a certificate of authenticity hand-inscribed in blue ink with the artist’s name ‚RAFAEL GRIERA BIANCHI‘, the title ‚GAME II‘, the size ‚22,5 x 18‘, the medium ‚M. M.‘, and the date ‚1996‘. It is signed ‚r. g. b.‘ at the signature line.
