Description
A landscape watercolour on paper depicting Trowlesworthy Tor on Dartmoor, Devon. The scene illustrates rocky outcrops and moorland in a soft palette of purples, ochres, and browns, leading to a hazy silhouette of the tor in the background. The work is signed in paint in the lower right corner W. H. Dyer. The reverse of the backing board features a handwritten ink inscription reading Trowlesworthy Tor / Dartmoor, with the digits 2489 written to the right. The painting is housed in a cream-coloured mount with a gilt inner border and a simple gilt wood frame.
