Description
A collection of baseball trading cards from the 1997 Mickey Mantle Shoe Box Collection, produced by Classic. The set is presented in its original cardboard packaging, designed with a pinstripe pattern to resemble a traditional shoebox. The exterior is decorated with imagery of Mickey Mantle and branding for 7 Classic Collector. This lot consists of the opened box and an assortment of loose cards. The contents include multiple stacks of standard-sized cards depicting various career moments, several die-cut cards in the shape of the number 7 featuring action portraits, and a horizontal commemorative card in a clear protective sleeve. Many of the cards feature printed facsimile signatures. As noted on the packaging, this collection was originally intended to include a mix of vintage and contemporary cards; however, as the box is open, the total number of cards and completeness relative to the original factory specifications cannot be confirmed.
