Description
A collection of four hardbound volumes comprising a partial set of the illustrated geographical description, The World We Live In. The set was edited by Graeme Williams and published by The Waverley Book Co., Ltd., London, as a Subscriber’s Edition. The volumes are bound in salmon-pink or dusty rose cloth covers and spines, featuring extensive gilt stamping in an Art Nouveau style, depicting stylized trees and landscapes. The collection includes volumes marked VOL. IV, VOL. I, VOL. I (duplicate), and VOL. III. The title page confirms the publisher location as London, 7/9 Old Bailey.
