Description
A Kenner Star Wars action figure multi-pack produced to mark the 1997 handover of Hong Kong. This commemorative set features three figures from the Power of the Force 2 line: C-3PO with a vacuum-metalised gold finish, Luke Skywalker in Tatooine farmboy attire with a blue lightsaber, and Princess Leia Organa in a white senatorial gown. The figures are housed in their original window box, which includes a diorama backdrop featuring a photographic night-time cityscape of Hong Kong. The packaging prominently displays the Union Jack and the flag of the People’s Republic of China. The reverse of the box includes a commemorative blurb in both English and Chinese regarding the transition of sovereignty. This set was a specific regional release for the Hong Kong market during the transition of sovereignty.
