Description
A vintage video game cartridge for the Atari Video Computer System (Atari 2600) featuring the game Venture. This cartridge is the PAL (U.K.) version, manufactured by CBS Electronics. The unit is constructed of a black plastic casing with adhesive paper labels. The main label features stylized Venture and Exidy trademarks. Printed text on the label attributes the program and audiovisual components to Coleco Industries Inc. (1983) and the packaging to CBS Toys, a Division of CBS Inc. (1983). The label further indicates the item was packaged in England by Ideal Toy Co. Ltd., Woodley, Berks. The manufacturer code 4L1802 is visible on the lower-left corner of the main label. The internal circuit board is visible at the base of the cartridge.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. The plastic casing exhibits surface scuffing and accumulated dust. Both the main label and the end label show signs of wear, including surface scratches and peeling at the edges. The end label is partially lifted at the seam. The internal circuit board appears intact upon visual inspection.
