Description
A hand wrought copper or brass bas-relief plaque by Richard C Hanscomb, depicting a Delage D8-120 1939. The plaque features the side profile of a vintage automobile, crafted from patinated copper or brass, mounted on a darker metal plaque. The inscription „DELAGE D8-120 1939“ is present below the vehicle, alongside a small, stylized „M.G.“ mark on the lower left. This assembly is set against a red fabric backing within a simple, rectangular wooden frame. A label on the reverse identifies the maker as „HAND WROUGHT BY / Richard C Hanscomb / 15 Moreton Place / London, S.W.1“.
