Description
A complete set of 32 wooden chess pieces manufactured by LARDY International, France. The set is of the classical Staunton pattern, comprising 16 pieces stained black and 16 pieces left in a natural blonde wood tone. All pieces feature green felt bases. The set is housed in its original light-colored wooden storage box with a hinged lid and an internal divider separating the two color groups. The box features a brass-toned latch closure. A circular paper label is affixed to the front face of the box, bearing the text PIECES EN BOIS, LARDY International, and MADE IN FRANCE.
