Description
A German Art Nouveau pewter match holder set, comprising a square, open-top holder with stylized foliate relief decoration, resting on a separate, boat-shaped tray. Crafted from a dark gray base metal, likely pewter or a similar alloy. The underside of the tray is impressed with the mark ‚Bremen‘ above the number ‚296‘ within a cartouche.
