A single, large artillery cartridge case constructed from brass or bronze, consistent with examples identified in the market as vintage or World War I era military ordnance. The object is cylindrical with a distinct flange at the base and a central primer pocket area. The base contains stamped markings (headstamp) relating to the manufacturer or caliber, though these are currently illegible due to wear and surface oxidation. The casing is suitable for use as a relic or decorative piece.
