Description
A group of four Guernsey coins from the mid-to-late 20th century. The lot includes a round, dark bronze 1956 „EIGHT DOUBLES“ coin featuring a lily motif on the obverse and „DEI GRA REX ET INSULAE GUERNESEY“ with a coat of arms on the reverse. Also present is a smaller, silver-colored, scalloped-edge 1959 „THREE PENCE“ coin depicting a cow on the obverse and „ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY“ with a coat of arms on the reverse. Completing the lot are two round, silver-colored „FIVE PENCE“ coins, dated 1990 and 1992 respectively, both featuring a sailing ship with the numeral „5“ on the obverse and a portrait of Elizabeth II with „BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY“ on their reverses.
