Description
A collection of six octagonal base metal coins from The Gambia, denominated as 1 Dalasi and dated 1987. Based on numismatic consensus, these coins are composed of copper-nickel. The obverse of each coin features a profile bust, likely of Sir Dawda Jawara, surrounded by the inscription "REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA – 1987." The reverse displays the large central numeral "1" above the denomination "1 DALASI, " accompanied by a stylized depiction of a crocodile.
