Description
A collection of commemorative items celebrating the career of Freddie Mercury and the rock band Queen. The collection features several framed prints by artist Trevor Horswell, depicting Mercury in iconic stage attire including the yellow jacket from the 1986 Magic Tour, a red stage outfit, and the coronation-style robe and crown. Each print bears the artist name Trevor Horswell within the image and is hand-signed in the margin T.B. Horswell. Also included is a hand-painted figurine of Mercury in his black-and-white harlequin unitard, set upon a circular black base featuring a raised Queen crest and logo. The lot further contains several decorative porcelain plates with gold-toned rims: one large red-rimmed plate featuring an early group portrait and the inscription I won’t be a rock star. I will be a legend. and Freddie Mercury 1946 – 1991; a black plate depicting Mercury in his cat-themed waistcoat; and a blue plate showing him in a white stage outfit. A cased DVD for The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert is also included.
