Description
A trio of mid-20th century vintage box cameras of British manufacture. The collection includes a Kodak Brownie Six-20 Model D, featuring a metal body with black rexine covering and a decorative art deco style faceplate marked Brownie SIX-20 CAMERA Model D with flash contacts and MADE IN ENGLAND BY KODAK LIMITED. This unit is accompanied by a brown canvas carrying case. The second camera is a Coronet Ambassador, constructed from moulded black bakelite with a vertically ribbed front panel and marked CORONET. The third camera is a Kodak No. 2 Brownie, finished in a black grained leatherette over a cardboard and metal frame, with the name BROWNIE embossed on the carrying handle. This camera includes a matching brown leatherette case. All models are designed for medium format roll film and feature simple meniscus lenses and rotary shutters.
