Description
This mid-20th century portable reel-to-reel tape recorder is manufactured by Philips. The unit is integrated into a two-part carrying case with a grey-ribbed textured finish and metal hardware, including latches and studs. The internal deck features a hammered metal finish and is equipped with a two-reel mechanism currently containing two clear plastic reels marked Scotch. A central cream-coloured plastic control panel includes a large multi-position selector dial, four smaller control knobs, and a speaker grille at the base. The Philips nameplate and a red shield logo are visible on the central housing.
