Mercedes Benz Motorcoach Friction Powered Plastic Toy with Original Box
Description
A Hong Kong made friction-powered toy bus, modeled after a Mercedes Benz motorcoach. The item features a two-tone molded plastic body with an orange lower section and a white upper roof frame. The windows are constructed from translucent blue tinted plastic. The front of the bus displays a molded circular emblem containing a three-pointed star, and the number 2018 is molded into the plastic below the grille. The underside of the vehicle houses a red friction motor mechanism connected to yellow plastic wheels.
The accompanying illustrated cardboard box is printed in multiple colours and displays the text MERCEDES BENZ MOTORCOACH in red and blue lettering. The side and end panels of the box are printed with MADE IN HONG KONG and the model number NO. 2018. One side panel includes a small red star logo next to the text SUPER SMOOTH FRICTION MOTOR. The cover illustration depicts a red coach carrying a driver and passengers in a landscape setting; the illustrated bus has a front license plate reading 111-I G 7.
