Description
A British-outline N-gauge model railway steam locomotive and matching tender produced by Graham Farish. The model is constructed from plastic with die-cast metal wheels and chassis, finished in British Railways Brunswick Green livery. The locomotive features a curved nameplate on the splashers reading TIVERTON CASTLE and the cab side is printed with the running number 5041. The tender is decorated with the British Railways early emblem, consisting of a printed device featuring a yellow lion straddling a red wheel above a bar containing the words BRITISH RAILWAYS in capital letters.
The model is presented in its original black and yellow cardboard window box with a clear plastic inner tray. A white adhesive label on the end of the box is printed with the product code 372-031, the model identification CASTLE CLASS 5041 ‚TIVERTON CASTLE‘, and the specification BR GREEN EARLY EMBLEM. A printed graphic on the label reads NEXT 18 DCC, indicating the chassis is fitted with an 18-pin socket for Digital Command Control. The front of the packaging features the printed GRAHAM FARISH logo, the manufacturer website www.grahamfarish.co.uk, and the scale designation Scale 1:148/N. The underside of the tender and locomotive chassis are marked with the manufacturer name.
