Description

This lot consists of two N gauge (Scale 1:148) model railway coaches manufactured by Graham Farish, finished in the British Railways (BR) maroon livery. The coaches are constructed primarily from plastic with free-rolling metal wheelsets and standard N gauge couplings. The first model is a Stanier Brake Second coach, identified by the printed running number M 5741 M on the body sides. The second model is a Stanier Vestibule Second coach, which bears the printed running number M 8468 M. Both models feature fine printed lining, window glazing, and underframe detail including battery boxes and brake gear.

The manufacturer is identified by the yellow logo reading GRAHAM FARISH printed on the front of each black and yellow window box. The end labels provide further identification: one label is printed with 374-827B / STANIER BRAKE SECOND / BR MAROON and a barcode 8 03393 04869 3; the other is printed with 374-842B / STANIER VESTIBULE SECOND / BR MAROON and a barcode 8 03393 04871 6. The box sides are printed with the website www.grahamfarish.co.uk and the scale Scale 1:148/N. Each coach is housed within a clear plastic internal cradle.
