Description
A collection of costume jewellery and vanity accessories. The group includes a long three-strand graduated necklace featuring simulated pearls in shades of mauve and pink, secured with a silver-tone floral-shaped clasp. Also present is a three-strand faux-pearl bracelet and a three-row clear rhinestone-set bracelet. A notable piece is an enameled brooch designed as an orca or dolphin in black, white, and teal tones.
Accompanying the jewellery is a circular, engine-turned yellow-metal powder compact featuring a central blank cartouche and decorative borders. A printed black label on the interior base of the compact reads STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND.
The lot includes several original presentation boxes. One black hinged box features the name H. SAMUEL printed in gold lettering on the interior silk. A light blue textured box bears the embossed name KIT HEATH on the lid. A larger card box is printed with the merchant details ALFRED CHILLCOTT & CO. PARK STREET BRISTOL in gold. Additionally, a small navy blue box marked H. SAMUEL and a small black hinged case with a silver-tone floral emblem are included.
