A collection of vintage and fashion costume earrings in various styles and finishes. The group includes several matched pairs and a single earring.
The assortment features:
A pair of large, gold-tone clip-on earrings with a textured triple-hoop knot design.
A pair of bohemian-style drop earrings with central faceted pink stones, surrounded by gold-tone borders inset with small faux pearls and turquoise-coloured cabochons, featuring hook backings.
A pair of gold-tone twisted wire semi-hoop (J-hoop) earrings with post backings.
A pair of small gold-tone twisted love knot stud earrings with post backings.
A pair of darker, oxidized metal twisted rope-style hoop earrings with post backings.
A pair of silver-tone drop earrings with faceted clear heart-shaped crystals on hook backings.
A single gold-tone circular stud earring with a textured sunburst radiating pattern and post backing.
Visible on one of the twisted hoop butterfly clasps is a small impressed mark which appears to read 925, although it is not clearly legible as a complete hallmark or name. No other maker’s names or marks are readable on the items.
