Lot 650:
A Collection of Glazed Ceramic Dinnerware with Fruit and Geometric Tile Decoration still in box.
Description
A collection of glazed ceramic dinnerware featuring a Mediterranean-inspired decorative scheme. Each piece is decorated with a transfer-printed border comprising clusters of yellow drupe-like fruits, such as loquats or apricots, interspersed with green foliage. These botanical motifs alternate with rectangular panels containing a red and green geometric tile-effect pattern. The central wells of the plates and bowls, as well as the interiors of the teacups, are left plain white. The set consists of multiple soup plates, dinner plates, side plates, teacups, and saucers. The undersides of the pieces are not visible in the provided images, and no maker’s marks or signatures are identifiable.
