Description
This is a Great Britain Half Crown, KM# 802, issued under King George V, dated 1921. The obverse features a left-facing laureate bust of King George V, encircled by the Latin legend «GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX» (George V, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains). The reverse displays a crowned shield of the Royal Arms, quartered with lions and a harp, flanked by a ribbon banner and the date «1921» below. Around the shield is the Latin legend «FID: DEF: IND: IMP:» (Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India) and the denomination «HALF · CROWN».
