Description
A Winterling Bavarian porcelain tea and coffee service, comprising a lidded pot, a set of four cups, and a set of nine plates of various sizes. Each piece is decorated with a consistent pink rose and green foliage motif on a white ground. The underside of one plate bears a green maker’s mark featuring a crowned ‘W’ logo above the text ‘WINTERLING, ‘ ‘MARKTLEUTHEN, ‘ and ‘BAVARIA, ‘ indicating German manufacture. The design suggests a mid-20th-century aesthetic.
