Description
This framed reproduction print depicts a German silver-gilt mounted coconut cup and cover formed as an owl. The original object, dating to the 19th century, was purchased by Sir Julius Wernher and was previously at Luton Hoo, now with English Heritage at Ranger’s House, Blackheath. The print features a detailed illustration of the owl-shaped object on a plain light grey background, presented within a wide white mat. It is housed in a gilded wooden frame with a decorative profile, covered by glass.
