Description
A traditional dark wood bedroom suite, comprising a large bed with a high, shaped headboard crafted from dark polished wood, likely mahogany or a similar hardwood, adorned with carved classical-inspired foliate and scroll details. Above the bed, a fabric coronet canopy is mounted, featuring draped curtains in a botanical and tropical bird pattern, possibly indicating Chinoiserie influence. An inner solid beige fabric layer is also visible. The pattern is matched by the quilted bedspread and a bolster pillow. The bed is flanked by a pair of coordinating dark wood bedside tables, each supporting a brass-toned table lamp with a cream fabric shade.
