Description
A large oviform porcelain table lamp, featuring extensive monochrome classical-themed decoration. The decoration depicts figures such as a woman playing a lyre or harp and putti around pedestals or fountains, all presented on a mottled light background. The base is mounted on a dark, possibly wooden, plinth and topped with a light-colored, bell-shaped fabric lampshade. The overall decorative style suggests a Neoclassical or Classical Revival influence.
