Description
A pair of Antique French Louis XV style bedside cabinets, each topped with a marble slab. Crafted from dark-toned wood, possibly walnut or mahogany, each cabinet features a variegated reddish-brown and black marble slab with a serpentine edge. The cabinet body presents a single shallow drawer above a lower cabinet compartment, both detailed with carved, curvilinear panels and fitted with small, round wooden pulls. Each stands on four ornate cabriole legs, adorned with carved foliate motifs at the knees. The wood displays a rich grain and apparent patina consistent with age and use.
