Description
A Georgian or Chippendale style mahogany writing desk and coordinating side chair. The desk features five drawers, brass-toned ring pull hardware, and elegant cabriole legs. It is topped with a rectangular dark, possibly leather or faux leather, inset surface bordered by gold tooling. The accompanying chair displays a shaped backrest, matching cabriole legs, and an upholstered seat in a pale green fabric with a small, repeating geometric pattern. Both pieces are constructed from dark stained mahogany.
