Description
A pair of Neoclassical walnut furniture pieces, comprising a three-drawer chest and a coordinating side table. The chest features a rectangular top, three graduated drawers with simple molded edges, and circular brass or gilt metal bail pulls with decorative backplates. It is raised on four tapered legs fitted with brass casters. The side table presents a rectangular top, a lower shelf, and a single drawer situated beneath the shelf, adorned with similar circular pulls and supported by four turned legs. Both pieces exhibit a traditional, dark reddish-brown hardwood finish, consistent with a Neoclassical aesthetic. No visible manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are present.
