Description
A Regency Style Mahogany Dropleaf Coffee Table with Leather Top. The rectangular table features a dark wood top with a central red leather inlay, bordered by intricate gold tooling. The table stands on a dark-stained wooden base comprising twin lyre-shaped pedestals connected by a turned stretcher, terminating in splayed legs with carved paw feet, likely brass or bronze. A small, handwritten white tag is affixed to one of the central supports, the text of which is illegible.
Condition report:
The red leather inlay shows considerable wear, scuffing, and fading. The surrounding wood exhibits scratches and minor chips consistent with age and use. The overall structure appears sound, but the finish shows signs of age and wear.
