Description
A 19th Century Regency mahogany double pedestal sideboard, featuring a central kneehole flanked by two pedestals. The top is overlaid with a clear glass panel. A prominent carved gallery adorns the back, displaying scrollwork and a central plain panel. Each pedestal contains a top drawer; the left cabinet door reveals three pull-out trays, while the right cabinet door opens to a bottom drawer with a single circular knob and an open compartment above.
Condition report:
Fair to poor condition. The wood finish exhibits considerable wear, scuffs, scratches, and discoloration, particularly to the pedestal bases and within the cabinet interiors. The glass overlay shows minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No visible text or markings.
