Description
A brass-toned table lamp in a Neoclassical or Classical Revival style, dating from the 1970s. The lamp features a tiered square base with a decorative frieze, supporting a square plinth, a fluted column, and a detailed Corinthian capital. It is fitted with a cream-colored, tapered fabric lampshade, which rests on a white metal harp fitter. The bulb fitting is E14, and the electrical specification is 220-240V.
Condition report:
The metal components exhibit minor surface wear and patination consistent with age and use. The fabric lampshade shows visible dirt, spotting, and discoloration. Overall, the lamp is in aged but functional condition.
