Description
An Antique French Louis XIII Style Carved Oak Barley Twist Desk Table. This rectangular wooden table features a plank top above a deeply carved frieze with two drawers, each adorned with carved fronts and simple wooden pull knobs. It is supported by four robust barley twist turned legs, united by a similarly turned H-stretcher. Constructed from solid dark oak, the table exhibits an aged patina.
Condition report:
Good antique condition. The tabletop exhibits significant surface wear, including lighter circular marks and general abrasions consistent with age and use. The overall structure appears stable. Aged patina throughout. No visible text or manufacturer\'s markings are present.
