Lot 2257:
Description
A late 19th Century American Pembroke drop-leaf table. This dark-toned wooden table features a rectangular top when closed and one visible drop leaf supported by the frame. It stands on four slender, square tapered legs. The wood exhibits a visible, straight grain pattern, consistent with mahogany or a similar stained hardwood, and has a semi-gloss finish. Its simple, unadorned form with tapered legs reflects a traditional or Neoclassical style influence.
Condition report:
The table is in generally good condition, exhibiting minor surface wear consistent with age and use. There are no immediately obvious significant damages or repairs.
