Description
An antique Queen Anne Style writing or console table, constructed from a dark hardwood, likely mahogany. The rectangular top is inset with a green leather writing surface, framed by gold tooling. The frieze contains two aligned drawers, each fitted with brass drop pull handles and escutcheons. The table stands on four elegant cabriole legs, terminating in pad feet. A white paper tag marked ‘LOT 822’ is visible attached to the right drawer pull.
Condition report:
The item exhibits expected signs of age and use, including surface wear, minor abrasions, and a patinated finish on both the wood and the leather top.
