Description
A 19th Century Empire-Style Mahogany Console Table. This carved hardwood console or hall table features a serpentine-shaped top and corresponding apron, supported by two heavily carved scrolled front legs and a plainer rear support, all resting on a shaped central stretcher base. The wood is a dark, reddish-brown hardwood, consistent with mahogany. A white tag marked «2335C» and «SOLD» is visibly attached to one of the front carved legs.
Condition report:
Good antique condition. Displays minor surface wear, scuffs, and abrasions consistent with age and use. Patina present. No apparent significant damage or repairs observed.
