Description
A Meiji period Japanese Satsuma vase, attributed to Kinkozan. The white-bodied ceramic vase features a tapered ovoid body and a flaring neck. It is decorated with vibrant polychrome enamel, depicting a rooster perched on a flowering branch with pink blossoms, consistent with East Asian naturalistic motifs. The neck and footrim are adorned with bands of stylized blue and yellow/gold decoration. No visible text or markings are apparent.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. No obvious damage, chips, cracks, or significant losses to the enamel decoration visible from the angles provided. Minor surface wear consistent with age and handling may be present.
