Description
A substantial console table featuring a rectangular top crafted from a variegated grey, white, and reddish-brown marble or conglomerate stone. The base is constructed from dark, richly carved wood, likely mahogany or walnut, exhibiting a Renaissance Revival style with prominent zoomorphic and foliate carvings. Details include grotesque masks or lion-like heads forming the upper section of the front legs, extensive foliate scrolls, shell motifs, and paw or claw feet, all resting on plinth-like bases and connected by a turned stretcher. The apron below the tabletop is also detailed with carved elements. An auction sticker on the tabletop indicates «ProAuction LOT 410».
