Description
A Victorian style dark-stained hardwood four-poster canopy bed, possibly mahogany, featuring elaborately turned posts with carved finials and decorative elements on the headboard and footboard, including a central carved motif on both. The headboard has a distinctive curved top with a central carved element. The bed is fitted with a fabric canopy consisting of an outer valance with a floral/botanical pattern in pink, green, and cream, embellished with tassels, and inner drapes of solid dark green fabric. The accompanying mattress bears a prominent label stating ‘VI-SPRING HOTEL CLASSIC’.
Condition report:
Good, well-maintained condition. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Fabrics appear clean with some light signs of use.
