Description
A collection of four vintage pedestrian and sporting accessories, comprising three walking sticks/canes and one riding crop. The lot includes a slender riding crop with a black braided shaft terminating in a metal tip. The canes include a shorter, gnarled dark wood stick fitted with a leather wrist strap. The two full-length canes are distinct: the first features a straight, polished reddish-brown shaft accented with a horizontal inlaid band, topped by a polished brass or gold-toned metal handle styled distinctly as a duck or swan head, complete with incised eye and wing detailing. The second full-length cane is constructed of dark wood with a heavily gnarled or carved shaft resembling a braided or spiral pattern, terminating in a naturalistic curved hook handle (Shepherd’s Crook style). Both full-length canes are fitted with dark rubber ferrules.
