Description
This is a vintage portable manual typewriter identified by the gold lettering on the casing as BLUE BIRD. The machine features a bright blue enameled metal body and utilizes a standard QWERTY keyboard layout with 38 visible round character keys plus the spacebar. The mechanical components include a type bar segment and ribbon spools. One of the ribbon spools is inscribed with the marking GIP 11/2/03.
